Once again, it has been forever since I have been on here but I have had such an interesting year so far and i feel like I need to tell all the 2 people who read this about it :)
First off, I moved!! I found an apartment with my very awesome friend, Katie! And for those who don't know her, I'll give a bit of background. Katie and I worked together at TR and became good friends being the sounding boards for awful people's stupid complaints. Her and I are very similar personality-wise and have been through similar experiences. It has been so much fun having her around to listen to me whine about boys and various other things.
Also, last month I got to go visit with Nicole, Lora and Jay! It had been years since I spent time with the girls and I really needed the ability to just relax and have fun. I also got to spend time with Hyrum and Ezra, Nicole and Jay's kids. We went to the zoo and had a bunch of movie nights and even got to visit their tornado shelter :)
One thing I love about my friends is that we haven't seen each other in years but it's like no time has passed. I am so lucky to have people in my life who love me for who I am and in spite of the decisions I make in my life.
I was really excited to see everyone but especially Ezra. He is 8 months old and has had a pretty rough start for such a happy little man and this was the first time meeting him. He is so sweet. We were walking around the zoo and I just never wanted to put him down. I just felt like the more I held him, the more happiness I could absorb from him. We stepped out into the sun and every time he would throw his head back so the sun was on his face and he would just laugh. Something so simple just made his day and made him so happy. He is a wonderful little guy!
